The P565 Siren Filter Set is a merge for the perfect workflow of highly coveted filters from different hardware audio equipment with a unique signature sound that makes it a Pulsar Modular product.
P565 Siren features high and low pass filters with selectable slope and tunable musical resonance that brings you into the realm of some of the most sought after resonant filters and beyond. It also features two notch/peak filters designed for precise adjustment and creative expression. Each of these filters can be dynamically modulated based on an external input signal or the built-in dual envelope followers with fine control over attack, release, amount and speed characteristics. These features accumulate to a powerful creative use that ranges from subtle movement to funky rhythmic enhancement while still covering phasing, flanging and resonance sweeps.
P565 Siren doesn’t stop there. Use the drive to give body, character and dimension to any sound or warp it into overdrive, taking your sound to where no overdrive has gone before!

エンベロープフォロワー付きのローパス・ハイパスフィルターです。エンベロープへの張り付き方がすごくべっちょりしていてアナログ感があります。エンベロープフォロワーの適用先をハイパス/ローパスにするかか、ノッチ/ベルなどのフィルターにするか選ぶことが出来ます。
フィルターツールの枠の下の方にLFO付きのディレイも搭載していて、ワウやフランジャーとしても使う事が出来ます。ギターやベース、シンセの音作りに手放せないフィルターです。レゲエっぽいサウンドを作るフィルターらしいのですが他にも色んなところで使い方ができるようです。ぜひデモをしてみる事をおススメします。
If you’re a singer-songwriter guitarist who’s interested in exploring new sonic territories and pushing the boundaries of traditional guitar tones, I highly recommend checking the P565 SIREN out. It requires some experimentation and sound design knowledge to fully utilize its potential.
For me, a great filter can transform an ordinary sound into a great sound. A great filter can also add to a great sound and transform that into a musical personality! Something in your song that you can’t unhear, but in the best way, or something that can add just enough movement and vibe to a track that brings it to life. My favorite filter in the analog realm is my Erica Synths Acid Box 3 and my other digital favorite is the P565 Siren! I can be subtle with it, or go completely nuts in the most musical way!
Simply put, P565 SIREN is a different kind of filter set. Although it performs the same functions as other filters, the warmth and resonance combined with the new delay circuit create a completely unique sound. You should definitely give it a try!
